Thomas Albert McBride 'Mac' Elliot

June 14, 1930 - August 4, 2023

Peacefully at age 93, former Williamsford resident Mac Elliot passed on August 4, 2023, at Summit Place in Owen Sound. Devoted husband of 69 years to Edith Elliot (nee Reid), who predeceased him in 2021. Loving father of Tom Elliot (Penny) of Whitehorse and  Marie Ferron of London. Proud grandpa of Kelsey, Brett (Maxine), Maegan (Tyler), and Courtney (Abe), and great-grandpa of Everett. Fondly remembered by sister Marie Arnold of Shelburne, and many nieces and nephews. Mac was predeceased by his daughter Marg and son-in-law Grant Ferron.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 12:00 noon, Reverend Randy Benson presiding. Friends are invited to remain after the service to share lunch and memories of Mac. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery, Chatsworth. If unable to attend, a livestream of the service will be available on the funeral home website. Memorial donations to Mercy Ships or Chapman House would be appreciated by the family.
