Arthur Laurenson Wheatley

September 22, 1939 - January 9, 2023

With great sadness, the family of Arthur Wheatley of Holland Centre, announce his peaceful passing at Chapman House, Owen Sound, on Monday January 9, 2023, at the age of 83 years. Loving father of Arran Stephen Wheatley of Waterloo, Susan Jane Kuhl (Travis) of Sauble Beach, and Julie Anne Diamond (John) of Moorefield. Proud Grandad to Justin Rivet (Candice), Bella-jo Boyce (Anaiah), Alisha Skinner (Matt), Alexina Akins (Brian), Lane Kuhl (Hayley), Tori Heyden-Thomas (Eli), Jacy Diamond, and Joelle Diamond. Great Grandad to Mila, Lilli, Alyzabeth, Joshua, Asia, Johnathan, Athalia, Jeremiah, Angus, and Rhett.  Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and special uncle to Carly, Myles, Forrest and Jeffery Maher. Predeceased by his parents  Arthur and Elizabeth Wheatley (nee Bunting), and siblings, Jack, Robert, and George Wheatley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Arthur to be held at the Chatsworth Legion, on Saturday January 28, at 4:00 pm. Interment at St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery in Holland Centre. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Chapman House for their exceptional care and compassion.
