With great sadness, the family of Ilse Poppelreiter (nee Fette) of Holland Centre, announce her passing on Thursday September 19, 2024, surrounded by family, at Chapman House in Owen Sound, at the age of 61. Loving wife of 43 years to Hubert Poppelreiter and cherished mother of Bernie Poppelreiter (Katie) of Meaford. Ilse is survived by her brothers Richard (Pel) and Bernhard Fette, sister-in-law Gertrud Albrecht (Martin), and brother-in-law Hermann Poppelreiter (Bonnie). Predeceased by her brothers Martin and Heinrich Fette, sister Anna Kalkstein, and parents Ernst and Ilse Fette (nee Schultz). Ilse will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and special fur-baby Sampson.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 28, 2024, from 1 – 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
