With great sadness, the family of Isaac Johnson announce his peaceful passing at Southbridge LTC in Owen Sound on July 14, 2024, at the age of 97. He is now reunited with his wife of 71 years, Marion Gwendolyn Johnson (nee Dixon), who predeceased him in 2020. Loving father of Marie Anderson (David) of Chatsworth, Arthur Johnson (Liz) of Holland Centre, Marilyn McCoy (Pat Forgrave), Gladys Hogan (Mike), and William Johnson (Heather), all of Chatsworth. Proud grandpa of Sheila, Wayne, Tammy (Matt), Arthur Jr. (Mindy), Nadine, Melissa (Bob), Scott, Sara, Christopher, and Anthony (Amanda), and fondly remembered by 15 great-grandchildren. Brother of Jean Long, Grace Risk (Mervin), Paul Johnson (Dorothy), and Allen Johnson (Jane). Brother-in-law of June Johnson and Joan MacKenzie. Predeceased by siblings Amelia Webster (Mel), Catherine King (Garnet), Leslie Johnson (Ruth), Lorne Johnson (Fay) and Wilbert Johnson, his parents Walter Scott and Margaret Louise Johnson (nee Hawkens), and in-laws John MacKenzie, Roy Long, Marjorie Hopkins (George), and Raymond Dixon. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A visitation will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 22, from 11:00am – 12:00pm, followed immediately by the funeral service at noon, officiated by David Fries. Interment at Shiloh Cemetery, Chatsworth. If desired, donations to Brightshores Health Systems- Markdale, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
