The family of Ross Nelson MacLeod, of Hamilton, sadly announce his sudden passing on Sunday December 8, 2024, at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Loving husband of Deborah MacLeod (nee Mitchell) for 51 years. Father of Bev MacLeod (Janet) of Hanover and Amanda MacLeod-Smith (Richard) of Hamilton. Proud Papa of Christopher (Danielle), Tori (Linus), Tristan, and Skyler. Sadly missed by his Grand Pug 'Coach'. Ross is survived by his brothers, Jack of Hanover, Allan (Mary Bernice) of Williamsford, and Jim (Sharon) of Durham and his sisters-in-law Ruth MacLeod of Jarvis, Glenda Graham of Holland Centre, and Sharon Batterman (Norm) of Hanover. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ross made a friend everywhere he went. Predeceased by his parents John and Emma MacLeod (nee Scheuerman), Deborah's parents Stan and Evelyn Mitchell, brothers Bill and Ernie MacLeod, brother-in-law Glen Mitchell, sisters-in-law Dale and Kim Mitchell, and godson Christopher Mitchell.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel from 1:00 – 3:00pm on Saturday January 11, 2025.
